Getting Ready

Be the host with the most.

Name that tune.

It's your party, which means it's your music. That doesn't mean you get to bust out your collection of trucker's songs or the mix tape your 8th grade steady gave you. The music will set the mood for your guests, so set it properly.

Go with the flow.

When setting up the main room, you want to create a steady, open flow. Place the bar on one side and the food on the other. Never together or in the middle.

Get by with a little help from your friends.

Don't be afraid to ask a friend to help out. Just tell them you'd be happy to do it for them sometime.
